Description

This microscopic mite lives on the lower side of leaves and around the side veins. As a result of its activity veins are deformed in a snake-shaped way and get irregularly thicker. It also causes deformations and rolling of leaves. It is commonly found particularly on younger trees. It is of no economic importance. It can reduce the aesthetic value of the tree.
