Description
Wingspan of the adult is 7–8 mm. Forewings are shiny white or ochrous with a well defined basal streak. Adults occur from May to August. Larvae mine the under- side of leaves. The mine is situated between veins from midrib to leaf-edge. It is narrow and tubular, with one crease in lower epidermis.
