Description

The wingspan of this tiny moth is 5-6 mm. It has two generations per year. The female lays eggs close to the central vein. Feeding trace (mine) starts at the central vein and it gradually goes in an S-shaped way to the edge, usually within the confines of two veins. In the mine lives the yellow larva of the pest. It can be common during the whole season.
